What to do if I do not know the HDDs orders when migrating drives to a new NAS?

Applied Products:
If you created your RAID in firmware version 4.3.6 or newer, the HDD order does not matter. Plug all HDD in the NAS, power on the NAS, and it will detect the RAID normally.
Do note, if the RAID is created before the above version or you are not sure which version they are created on, the drive order would matter and is recommended to mark the drive orders before unplugging from the old unit, otherwise the RAID may not assemble successfully.
