Why do I get “Network Error” when double clicking on the pdf file in File Station using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome?

Root Cause

The double click action in [File Station] is defined as “Open with web browser”. Thus, this operation is actually controlled by the web browser, not QNAP NAS.

Solution

It is suggested to right-click and use the “Download” option in File Station to download the pdf file to your local PC, then use a suitable application to open it.
