Overview
When a SAS-based or REXP expansion unit is connected to a QNAP rack-mounted NAS, the expansion LED will remain lit. This behavior indicates a successful detection of the expansion unit and is not a system error.

You can refer to the hardware manual of your NAS model (e.g., TS-h2483XU-RP) for specific LED behavior. The LED staying on is expected when an expansion unit is detected and functioning normally. This is not a system error. When a SAS or REXP expansion unit is connected and detected, the expansion LED will remain on to indicate normal operation.
