Scenario
You may encounter an issue when you first try to login to the QSW-M3216R-8S8T / QSW-M3212R-8S4T using the MAC address as the default password. This issue has been resolved on later firmware versions 3.0 and above.
Solution
To resolve this, log in to the unit using the following credentials:
username: admin
password: admin123
Once logged in, update the firmware to v3.0 or above. The firmware can be downloaded from the links below:
