Qfile Pro (Android)
Root Cause
To conserve battery and optimize system resources, Android (especially Android 15 and above) implements strict background execution policies. If an app runs in the background for an extended period without user interaction, ranging from hours to days, at some point the system may pause the app to save power. If Qfile Pro is transferring files in the background, it may be paused by the system.
Background services may also be stopped by the system to save power if the service runs for an extended period—typically 6 hours, though this duration may vary depending on the device manufacturer. Qfile Pro runs a background service to detect new files and execute upload tasks. If the system stops the Qfile Pro background service, Qfile becomes unable to detect new files and perform upload tasks in the background.
Solution
While Qfile Pro has been optimized to meet Android's system requirements, the app cannot prevent the system from stopping background activities and services to conserve device power. If you notice that Qfile Pro is not detecting or uploading new files, you need to restart Qfile Pro.
Restarting Qfile Pro (Qfile Pro version 4.5.2 and later)
To restart Qfile Pro, simply open the app. After opening the app, the Qfile Pro background service will run normally and Qfile Pro will be able to detect new files and transfer files in the background.
Restarting Qfile Pro (Qfile Pro version 4.5.1 and earlier)
Tip
If you are running Qfile Pro version 4.5.1 or earlier, it is recommended to update Qfile Pro to the latest version.
To restart Qfile Pro, follow these steps:
- Open Android System Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Find Qfile Pro and tap it.
App settings for Qfile Pro opens. - Tap Force Stop.
The Qfile Pro app and background services are stopped. This may take several seconds. - Go to the Android Home screen and open Qfile Pro again by tapping on the app icon.
After opening the app, the Qfile Pro background service will run normally and Qfile Pro will be able to detect new files and transfer files in the background.
Qfile Pro(Android)
为了节省电池和优化系统资源,Android(尤其是 Android 15 及以上版本)实施了严格的后台执行策略。
重新启动 Qfile Pro(Qfile Pro 版本 4.5.2 及更高版本)
重新启动 Qfile Pro(Qfile Pro 版本 4.5.1 及更早版本)
