Vulnerability in File Station 5

Summary

A files or directories accessible to external parties vulnerability has been reported to affect File Station 5. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow remote attackers to read and write files or directories.

We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:

Recommendation

To fix the vulnerability, we recommend updating File Station 5 to the latest version.

Updating File Station 5

1. Log on to QTS or QuTS hero as an administrator.
2. Open App Center and then click .
   A search box appears.
3. Type "File Station 5" and then press ENTER.
   File Station 5 appears in the search results.
4. Click Update.
   A confirmation message appears.
   Note: The Update button is not available if your File Station 5 is already up to date.
5. Click OK.
   The application is updated.
