System migration means moving disks from one NAS to another and still using the same disks and configuration without initializing the system, the benefit is that you can quickly access the data on a different NAS
RAID migration means replacing the disks in the same NAS for the following goals
- Migrate RAID type like Migrate single disk to RAID 1, when you need better data protection.
- Expand the capacity like Migrate 2x 2TB RAID 1 to 2x4TB RAID 1, when you need a larger capacity.
