What to do if Domain Controller error "Setting Domain Controller failed" after downgrading from QTS5.0 to QTS4.5.4?

If you downgraded from QTS5.0 (or newer) to QTS 4.5.4 (or older), you may receive an error "Setting Domain Controller failed" when trying to enable Domain Controller.
You could work around this issue by performing the following:
1. Upgrade firmware back to QTS5.0, double check DC can be enabled successfully.
2. Install Python 3 in the App Center if it is not installed already.
3. Connect to NAS via SSH and issue the below command:
- After downgrading from QTS5.0 or newer to QTS4.5.4 or older
If you downgraded from QTS5.0 (or newer) to QTS 4.5.4 (or older), you may receive an error "Setting Domain Controller failed" when trying to enable Domain Controller.
You could work around this issue by performing the following:
1. Upgrade firmware back to QTS5.0, double check DC can be enabled successfully.
2. Install Python 3 in the App Center if it is not installed already.
3. Connect to NAS via SSH and issue the below command:
/usr/local/samba/sbin/samba_downgrade_db
4. After issuing the command, you would be able to roll back to QTS4.5.4 and enable the DC successfully.
