Details
Abnormal backup status indicates that your recordings are having trouble uploading to myQNAPcloud Surveillance, either resulting from server network issues or channel configuration mismatches. See the table below to check your backup status.
| Backup status | Description | Solution |
|---|
| Normal | The recordings can be uploaded for this channel. | N/A |
| Abnormal | The last recording was not uploaded because the server's network was unstable. | Ensure the network environment of the server is stable and secure. |
| The recording failed to upload because the channel configuration does not meet the license criteria. Either the resolution is too high or the bitrate exceeds the pre-set license standard resulting in the over-the-limit file size. | - Set the resolution of the backup channel's stream in accordance with the license's resolution criteria.
- Lower the Frame rate to 30 fps or lower.
- Change the video format to H.264 or H.265.
- Tune down the bitrate to or lower than the following criteria:
- 1080p license: 4 Mbps (4,096 Kbps)
- 4K license: 8 Mbps (8,192 Kbps)
- 8K license: 12 Mbps (12,288 Kbps)
Note If your camera has its CBR set to the above-mentioned bitrate but the file still failed to upload, further lower your bitrate by 10%~20% based on the scene complexity of your camera and the settings from the model of your camera brand to appropriately meet the upload criteria of myQNAPcloud Surveillance. You can inspect your file size in File Station. Go to where you assign your recording space and find the time period when you upload your recordings. The following is the size cap for each license: - 1080p license: 35 MB per minute (about 597 KB per second)
- 4K license: 70 MB per minute (about 1,194 KB per second)
- 8K license: 140 MB per minute (about 2,388 KB per second)
|
| The license has expired either because the user unsubscribed it or there appeared to be payment issue. | |
| There are service errors. | If this error keeps happening, contact QNAP support for further assistance.
|
| The server is disconnected. | Ensure the network environment of the server is stable and secure. |

- 将视频格式更改为 H.264 或 H.265。
4 Mbps (4,096 Kbps)
8 Mbps (8,192 Kbps)
12 Mbps (12,288 Kbps)
