What should I do if Malware Remover detects malware?

Applicable Products:
- Malware Remover
If the Malware Remover detects the malware, follow the procedures below:
- Login QTS as an administrator
- Open Malware Remover
- Click Event logs to view the filtered Malware Remover logs in Qulog Center.
- Select severity level to Warning and Error
- Follow the instructions in the Event logs.
Note: Since different malware affects the NAS differently, the instructions could be entirely different.
Following is one of the example:
- Message: [Malware Remover] Removed the detected malware: MR2101
- Message: [Malware Remover] The system automatically disabled the phpMyAdmin tool to prevent another attack. Go to"Control Panel >Applications > SQL Server to create a stronger root password.
- Message: [Malware Remover] Disable the webserver in "Control Panel >Applications > Web Server" to prevent web shell implants on the device.
- Message: [Malware Remover] Go to the myQNAPcloud app and perform the following tasks to secure the device: (1) Deselect "Enable UPnP port forwarding" in Auto Router Configuration. (2) Deselect unimportant NAS services in Publish Services. (3) Set "Device access control" to private in Access Control.
