How do I repair a degraded storage pool in an HA cluster?

Scenario
When a storage pool enters a degraded state in a high-availability (HA) cluster, services may continue to run. However, the cluster loses some fault tolerance. We recommend repairing the degraded storage pool as soon as possible to maintain data protection and avoid potential data loss.
Solution
Tip
Ensure that your important data is backed up before performing any storage actions.
- Identify the faulty disk in your degraded storage pool.
- Log in to the active node as an administrator.
- Go to Storage Manager > Storage Space.
- Locate the storage pool with a "Degraded" status.
- Under Action, click ⋮ > Manage.
The storage pool management page appears. - Go to the RAID tab.
- Identify the faulty disk.
- Replace the faulty disk.
- Physically remove the faulty disk.
- Replace it with a healthy disk of the same or greater capacity.
- Ensure the new disk is detected and appears in the disk list.
- Wait for the storage pool to rebuild.
- Go back to Storage Manager > Storage Space.
- After replacing the faulty disk, the pool status should change to "Rebuilding".
During the rebuild process, the system will automatically synchronize data between the cluster nodes.ImportantDo not power off or remove any other disks during the rebuild process.
- Once the rebuild process is complete, the pool status changes to "Ready".
- Check HA functionality.Note
We recommend performing a switchover to verify the active and passive nodes can switch roles normally and that HA functionality has been fully restored.
- Go to High Availability Manager > Cluster.
- Click Manage, and then click Switch Over.
A confirmation window appears. - Click OK.
High Availability Manager performs the switchover. - After the switchover is complete, ensure the nodes have switched roles and the cluster status is "Good".
