Notes Station 3 provides collaborative editing features and note-taking functions into a single app hosted by a private cloud on your QNAP NAS. The innovative integrated service brings the advantages of collaborative note-taking with improved productivity to provide higher efficiency for your workgroup.

Simply create share links for your notes to share them with team members who use the same NAS*, then you can start taking notes together right away. Collaborative note-taking is especially great for keeping meetings and discussion minutes. Each section’s editor will appear on the left side of the notes, allowing you to easily find the responsible person for further discussion.

QuMagie integrates AI image recognition and intelligent classification for your photo. Featuring a streamlined user interface, a built-in timeline scroll, customizable folder covers, iOS® Live Photo display, and a powerful search tool, QuMagie provides you with the ultimate photo management and sharing solution.

QVR Pro, QNAP’s new surveillance solution, provides 8 embedded monitoring channels, allowing you to quickly build a home surveillance environment hosted on your QNAP NAS without any extra software needed. Businesses can easily expand the number of monitoring channels () by purchasing QVR Pro licenses to deploy a large-scale surveillance network.

QVR Pro supports all of the standard fisheye cameras available on the market and features Qdewarp technology that converts distorted parts of the original images into proportional ratios. QVR Pro also provides industry-leading functions, including allowing a single fisheye camera’s image to be simultaneously viewed in nine channels from different angles and cross-platform hardware-accelerated decoding for fisheye camera images. QVR Pro ensures higher surveillance performance for greater security while providing deployment flexibility.

In the past, QVR Pro only provided event recording and event notifications for expensive cameras with integrated motion detection. QVR Pro now provides motion detection even for budget-friendly cameras and USB webcams as long as they can stream their footage to QVR Pro (e.g. through RTSP protocol). QVR Pro allows you to build a more-secure surveillance system for homes and office environments on an affordable budget.

LXC supports OS-level virtualization for Linux®-based operating systems, while Docker® is ideal for application virtualization purposes. As shown below, most NAS products on the market only support Docker® containers, and as such are unsuitable for the deployment of Linux® virtual machines.
As the only NAS brand on the market supporting both LXC and Docker®, QNAP NAS is the clear choice for comprehensive virtualization solutions.

The wizard is free from complex procedures, automatically detects configuration, and helps you easily complete the installation with just a single click. All you need to do is click the “Create” button, then start using container applications.

Lightweight virtualization for ARM®-based NAS
QNAP TS-431+ and TS-231+ Turbo NAS are the first and only ARM®-based NAS models on the market that support lightweight virtualization technology. It provides users with affordable choices to experience the amazing Container Station and to enjoy the playground of virtual containers.

Download any of the 45,000+ applications from our built-in Docker® Hub Registry. Applications include databases, web servers, programming languages, and entire development suites. It is as easy as downloading apps on your smartphone. Alternatively, use Linux® container to run multiple applications. All of these possibilities make Container Station ideal to meet the needs of the education sector, developers, and the Linux® community.

QNAP’s Virtualization Station and Container Station jointly introduce a hybrid approach to virtualization. No matter what your virtualization needs are, you can count on QNAP for a complete range of virtualization support.
