Hey Guy Media traveled to Detroit to cover the Shell Eco-marathon again this year. Each year we look to improve our workflow. This years focus was on a new shared storage system. We were looking for a very fast shared storage system that would get all of our editors connected to all of the media at the same time. Qnap was kind enough to loan Hey Guy Media the TVS-871T NAS to test out. With it's Thunderbolt networking capability, built in 10 Gigabit Ethernet and various raid configurations for redundancy, this was just the system we were looking for. After a week worth of tight deadlines, fast turn arounds and constant abuse, the QNAP TVS-871T performed beautifully.
